Psalm 103: Don't Forget to Remember

Jul 13, 2025    Jeremy Mignerey

In Psalm 103, David teaches us to praise God even when we don't feel like it, commanding his own soul to remember God's benefits. True praise is fueled by recognizing God's goodness in how He forgives, heals, and redeems us; His greatness as Creator of the universe; and His grace in not treating us as our sins deserve. Despite our frailty and temporary existence, God's faithfulness remains eternal. Being captivated by God means making Him the center of our lives, allowing our relationships, decisions, and priorities to flow from our devotion to Him.
