How it all started...

Bell City Church began as a small men’s Bible study in 2017, where a handful of men gathered weekly to grow in their faith. Under the guidance of Pastor Robby Ballmeyer, the group flourished and inspired a vision for a greater community impact.

In 2019, we partnered with another church that provided direction and support as we expanded our ministry. This partnership played a key role in shaping our mission and equipping us to serve the Hillsboro area.

Expanding the vision...

In 2025, we stepped into a new chapter as Bell City Church, a fully independent congregation committed to sharing the life-changing truth of the Gospel. We are a Bible-teaching church dedicated to helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through engaging teaching, live worship, and vibrant community.
We invite you to join us on this exciting journey as we continue to pursue faith, hope, and love together.

Where we are headed...

As we look to the future, Bell City Church is expanding our vision to reach even more people in our community and beyond. We are committed to building deeper connections, equipping leaders, and creating spaces where everyone can encounter God’s transformative love. Through innovative ministries, outreach efforts, and a renewed focus on discipleship, we are excited to see how God will use Bell City Church to make an eternal impact.

Why We Chose Bell City

Rooted in Heritage, Gathered in Community

When we set out to name our church, we sought a name that would reflect both our community's heritage and its spirit. Hillsboro’s legacy as a center for bell manufacturing made "Bell City Church" a fitting choice. For decades, the C.S. Bell Company crafted steel alloy bells that resonated not only throughout the United States but across the globe. These bells, known for their distinctively resonant tones and remarkable durability, became synonymous with Hillsboro's identity. From church and school bells to mission and farm bells, their influence ranged from calling communities to worship to serving aboard naval vessels during World War II.
The name "Bell City Church" honors this rich legacy. Just as the bells made in Hillsboro called people together with clarity and purpose, we aspire to be a place where people are united in faith and hope. The heritage of craftsmanship, innovation, and community pride embodied by the C.S. Bell Company serves as a reminder of how Hillsboro's contributions have echoed far beyond its borders. Naming our church "Bell City" is a tribute to the timeless role Hillsboro has played in shaping lives and history.
