Mark 1:40-45: Written Off

We all know what it feels like to be written off by others, yet we often do the same to people around us. In Mark 1:40-45, a leper approaches Jesus despite being completely rejected by society. Real faith begins when we stop saying 'I got it' and admit 'I don't got it.' The leper demonstrates faith through his direction toward Jesus, humble posture, and intentional request. Jesus responds by touching the untouchable man, showing he's angry at the condition, not the person. Jesus knows exactly what we need and is both able and willing to restore what the world has written off.
