Mark 2:1-17: A Faith that Breaks Through

Mar 22, 2026    Jeremy Mignerey

Four friends refused to let a crowded house stop them from bringing their paralyzed friend to Jesus, even tearing through the roof to lower him down. When Jesus saw their faith, He addressed the man's greatest need first - forgiveness of sins - before healing his paralysis. This story reveals that our greatest problem isn't our circumstances but our separation from God due to sin. True friendship means being willing to sacrifice convenience and comfort to carry others to Jesus. We're called to be the stretcher, not the savior, helping people reach the One who can truly transform their lives.
