Mark 2:18-28: Jesus Changes Everything

When we approach faith through performance and rule-following instead of heart transformation, we miss the point entirely. Jesus cannot be fitted into our old systems of earning God's favor. True alignment with Christ means our prayers, desires, and identity are transformed from the inside out. Spiritual disciplines position us to experience God's presence rather than produce it, and God desires relationship over religion.
