Mark 1:14-20: The Call

When Jesus called His first disciples by the Sea of Galilee, He invited them to become fishers of people. Jesus doesn't call perfect people; He chose ordinary, unschooled men and transformed them into world-changers. The call to follow Jesus requires dropping our nets of comfort and control to embrace radical discipleship. Following Christ means allowing Him to be Lord of every area of our lives, not just a supplement to our existing plans. The cost is high, but the call is worthy.
