Ephesians 3:14-21: How to Pray
Nov 2, 2025 • Robby Ballmeyer
Prayer often feels difficult because we approach it with unrealistic expectations and focus on external circumstances rather than inner transformation. The apostle Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 teaches us that effective prayer isn't about getting God to move toward us, but about letting God shape us to move toward Him. We should pray with humility, gratitude, and confidence, grounded in God's grace. Paul prays for spiritual strength from the inside out, for Christ to dwell fully in our hearts, and for believers to grasp the immeasurable dimensions of God's love. The ultimate promise is that God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine through His power working within us.
