Ephesians 2:11-22: Foreigners to Family
Oct 19, 2025 • Robby Ballmeyer
The greatest divide in history wasn't political or cultural, it was the separation between Jews and Gentiles. Before Christ, we were all outsiders: Christless, foreigners to God's promises, and without hope. But the gospel changes everything. Through Jesus' sacrifice, the dividing wall was torn down, creating one new humanity. Now we're not just saved from something, we're brought into something amazing. We become citizens of God's kingdom, members of His family, and living stones in His temple. This transformation calls us to live like family through belief, commitment, generosity, protection of unity, and prayer. The gospel doesn't just make bad people good, it makes divided people one.
